IT support that closes tickets and writes down why
Managed IT services and an outsourced helpdesk for small and mid-sized teams, with the reasoning kept where the next person can read it.
Reliable IT support means more than fielding tickets. It means the people behind it can debug, decide, and document with consistent quality — ticket after ticket, year after year.
Most small teams do not need a larger IT department. They need the one they have to stop losing context: the fix that worked last quarter, the reason a setting was changed, the person who knew why the printer on the second floor is on its own subnet. When that context lives only in somebody's memory, every recurring problem is solved again from scratch.
How we work
We take first-line cover for the things that interrupt people — accounts, access, mail, devices, connectivity — and we write down what we did. Not a ticket number and a closing note, but enough that the next person to meet the same symptom starts where we finished.
That has two effects worth paying for. Recurring issues get cheaper instead of more expensive, because the second occurrence is a lookup rather than an investigation. And when something does need escalating, the person escalating it already has the history in front of them.
What this is not
We are not a replacement for a security programme, and we will tell you plainly when a problem is architectural rather than operational. A helpdesk that papers over a bad design makes the design harder to fix later.
If you are weighing whether to hire, to outsource, or to do neither yet, tell us the shape of the problem and we will say which of those we think it is — including when the answer is that you do not need us.
How we help
- Outsourced helpdesk — First-line cover for accounts, access, mail, devices and connectivity, with a documented resolution rather than a closing note.
- Managed IT services — Ongoing responsibility for the systems your people depend on daily, including the patching and backup work that is only visible when it was skipped.
- SMB technical support — Sized for teams without a dedicated IT department, where one person leaving should not take the only copy of how something works with them.
- Handover and documentation — Writing down what already exists, for teams whose systems work but whose reasoning lives in somebody's head.
Frequently asked questions
Do you replace an in-house IT person?
Usually not. We are most useful alongside one, taking the interrupt-driven work so they can finish projects — or before you hire, so the role you eventually write is based on what actually came up.
What happens to the documentation if we leave?
It is yours and you leave with it. Documentation that is hostage to a supplier is a reason to distrust the supplier, not a reason to stay.
How quickly do you respond?
We agree response targets per account rather than publishing a number we would have to qualify. Tell us which systems stopping would actually stop your work, and we will size cover around those.
Can you help with something that is not a day-to-day problem?
Ask. If it is architectural rather than operational we will say so, and say whether we are the right people for it. A helpdesk that papers over a bad design makes the design harder to fix later.
